That reminds me. Forget about masturbation and scales on the violin. Television is the great boredom avoidance mechanism. The only problem is that in the summer there isn't anything to watch. I don't have cable and I don't watch sports.

For starters, when I am bored I feel very sorry for myself. Then I pick up a crochet needle and pretend that I am enjoying myself as I go about making a crochet square bigger and bigger. Finally I go online and seek out Able2Know where I know I can rely on someone somewhere to tell me to wake up to myself and start thanking my lucky stars that I have no rights to be bored. I just need someone to talk to I guess. Oh.. I even tried doing crosswords, but that made me feel more bored. Big sighs.
