Dissappear now..

Speaking of missing-

I will be gone for about a week, if not longer due to computer problems.
Im HOPING, we can start moving soon.. as I am still playing the waiting game with the apt.

if we do start moving, it may be a month before I get online.. and that is if we see we can afford it right away..

lately I have had to sign in in safe mode only. Then the computer freezes about 7-11 minutes later.

I am turning it in to a local shop either tonight, depending on when i get out of work, or first thing saturday morning.

I dont know how LONG this will take.. Im hoping 3 or 4 days.. but the last time I turned in a computer, it took 11 days..

so.. there will be a bit of peace on a2k for a few days with me being absent.
Possibly a month or more, if we cant not afford to turn on internet for a while..

Good luck with it all.

I know you're busy, and that sometimes there is a wait for a computer, but I've had luck using library computers.. if you need an a2k fix.
ABQ library downtown has - if I remember - something like three rows of computers with, I dunno, eight computers each row. When I used the library for a while, the wait wasn't ever very long.

I have sent out a notice to all of my clients, letting them know of my loss of a computer.
Asking them to call first for about 2 weeks and I will let them know when I am back online.

We do have libraries here that allow free internet access for one hour at a time..
I think i will do that.

Im doing one final sweep now, to take it down later.

Gotta get one last a2k fix.. Laughing

Oooh! I read "appt" in "i actually have an appt on monday to take in my computer" as meaning "appartment". But only just now I realised that it stood for "appointment". Duh. Sorry, sometimes my English fails me - its learned, not intuitive ;-)
