What I Love About A2K

A place where I don't have to interact if I choose not to. I can spend time reading others ideas and suggestions and gain something from them. For me, I consider the day lost if I did not learn at least one thing.

I can state my opinions, if I choose, knowing that some will agree with them and some will think I am a total dork...and say so.

A place where I seriously care about the state of those who post here. Whether we argue; whether we agree; whether we disagree; whether we say things we know we shouldn't have said; whether we stifle a tear over somebody's predicament. It is a place that is hard to stay away from.

Interacting with people whose opinions I wouldn't otherwise encounter in a million years. Fortunately (in some cases)...

I love it's diversity, as past posts have said. Any place with this spectrum of different personas can come together and coexist pacifically (for the most part) must be cool. Every poster brings something to the table and the others can choose to take it or leave it.

I also love Gus, when I grow up I wanna be like him.

...that's what I love about it - knowing I can post something like that, but Bella would still come to my aid if I had a problem. As would many others, even if we don't see eye to eye on some things!

I much enjoy interacting with the Chinese students, and keeping them updated daily on to what I had for lunch.

I'm very happy to find a place where skewed vision is tolerated--even admired.
