Rag, I just noticed you joined in 2002, but I admit I thought you were a newbie. Newbies tend not to get the attention of the old and moldy around here. I suggest you start a thread about oral sex or God or how you wife would rather clip her toenails than have sex with you and you will get some action.

(Dys I assume is just being ornery)

started at abuzz in 1999. Then when it folded, I came here. From my start on A2K in 2002, I posted sporadically. Went off for awhile and I'm back posting again.

I assume Dyslexia is welcoming me with open arms.

Actually, oddly enough, I just had thawed some cut-up fruit for dessert when I was reading Dys' comment. Cue the Twilight Zone music.

Truly?

Fetch me a gin and tonic. Rail will be fine. And bring me last weekends paper -- I feel like working the crossword.

I need a pedicure, and the coins are loose on my belly-dancing scarf.

Thanks!

Patio, Ive asked James (or Jimmy, pronounced Zhimmy, as we like to call him here on the Continent) to bring you the gin and tonic, and I do believe I have last weekend's paper here. The Independent OK?

Ebeth, if you could stop moving for a second I'll stitch those coins back on more tightly ... here... there.

This still has not been answered. I know you were hoping we'd all just forget about it, but I'm not letting it go that easily.

quick sidetrack if I may ...

I've seen most of you on the less serious and also relationship threads that I enjoy so I'll ask this here:

Using the recent thread in relationships from Tagged_Lyricist...

Do I offend anyone (yet)? I seem to not get many if any comments about my posts though I don't author orignals much. Is there something anyone notices about my style that is not interesting or off in some way?

Let me know. I can take constructive criticism. Of course some folks just don't know me well, but let's look past that as a reason for the sake of discussion. ok?

Or, am i just sensing something that just isn't there?

My God, ragman, how can you even ask?? This is exactly the type of thing we all hate about you! You come in this significant, serious, intense thread and just turn it into a big talk-about-ragman fest! JEEZ!!

Okay, okay, sorry.... Very Happy Actually you seem like a really nice guy from what I've seen. I think it's like that for all of us, where we think "Oh my gosh, no one answers anything I say!" I've actually gone thru periods where I wondered if everyone was exchanging flurries of private messages saying, man, that cyphercat's a mess, just don't answer and maybe she'll go away.... maybe it just happens to us sensitive souls, but I know how you feel...

Wait a sec...you all are doing that pm thing right now, aren't you?!?

Thanks Cypher and everyone for the greetings and support. When you post replies on political side of A2K and sense the atmosphere there, you wonder sometimes where people's hearts are at. I like debate as much as the next person, but ...really.

Speaking of cats (cypher or otherwise), I'm listening to my cat snore contentedly here now. Makes me wonder who has it easier... pets or people? We know the answer to that, I'm sure.

Yep..Cypher hit it on the head...I have had those same thoughts. Better yet, post a message and it seems that the thread comes to a halt and you had the last word. Makes ya a lil sensitive.

Ragman, you're ok.

Just one thing: I know I just encouraged her myself (the flesh is weak), but just don't answer Cyphercat, 'k, and maybe she'll go away.

That is also the thing that I am the most sensitive about. I hate the feeling that I have killed a thread.

Don't worry, ragman. I have stopped expecting responses. However, I am always happy when I get a response.

Also, sometimes I get carried away and post every thought that crosses my mind. A truly bad habit. Smile
