it really is wonderful. the internet has definitely opened me back up to travel - cuz i wanna meet people! i wish i could go to seattle in june. <sigh>maybe next year's san francisco trip will be possible. maybe.
Grrrrrrrrr - what about smegging Oz, eh? Oh no - it's always "when you come to Canada"....
well i'm heading your direction. slowly, but i'm getting there.
a couple of years ago, i hadn't been west of Winnipeg - now i've been to Arizona. i'd never been to Roosa Gap, or Boston, or Winter Harbor or Mudsock or Ellsworth, or Lodi ...
i'd never telephoned anyone in australia.
internet friendship has been very good for me. it re-opened a door i'd shut for myself.
Hmmmm - at that rate you will be in Hawaii by the time I am 99! LOL!
Margo and me we don't GOT that long, honey-chile!
Silly bunny, you'll live forever. You do sound better anyway. Have you climbed out of your crib and tottered around?
ok bunny - how far have >>> you <<< travelled to meet your internet friends? hmmmmmmmmmmm ... wanna do a travel challenge? <raises eyebrows in a challenging deerhuahua manner>
<psssssst - hamburger and mrs. hamburger took bailey and cleo in for a grooming - got 'em a bit over-groomed - bailey looks like a real deerhuahua now, 'ceptin' for the floral chapeau of course>
<pssssssssst rae - i'm trying to get the bunny riled up enough to head toward north america - i've tried to get her to go as far as hawaii - even though i've never wanted to go there, and hate flying - i'd give it a crack to visit with the bunny - so help me, girl - get the bunny riled up and ready to travel>
<pssssst ehbeth.....I'd love to get both you and the bunny here in Florida.....think we can rile her up enough for that trip?>
LOL! Bunny lOVES to travel - and dearly wishes to visit North America again!
You see, I have even visited the land of the ehBeths - but she made no attempt to meet with me. Waaaaaaaaah!!!!!
And - we tried SO hard to go to Boston!
Now - I am a sick, penniless Bunny - but I will do my best.....whimper, whimper....
did i know the bunny when she visited the land of the ehBeths? (is that anything like visigoths or huns? - ya know my nickname in uni was Genghis Beth  )
if i did, i offer my abject

apologies for not tracking down the bunny.
nah - you did not know me - BUT THAT IS NO EXCUSE!!!!
You didn't even TRY!
There there - Bunny is compassionate and will for give the deeruahua for her omissions..... don't cry - I hate wet fur...
I've just been for a walk in the spring mists with my crazy little doggies, smelling and feeling the heavy lilacs in the air, remembering that it is a year and a day since i took that same walk after learning of the death of a very sweet man. The lilacs were heavy and sweet with the rain that night as well, leading to one of my favourite abuzz haiku threads, do lilacs smell different in the rain? This led me to thinking of one of my internet friends who offered a very lovely tribute to my neighbour and friend. Thank you to HCE, who in his many incarnations has been a good, kind and inspirational friend.
Lovely ehbeth.....
Hugs coming your way.
thanks, rae. the virtual hugs are very nice on a night like this.
