I imagine the are just on summer break--there were lots of questions about summer fashions, camping out, travelling, etc. . . .
Then again, it is also perhaps true that many of the words we use here, such as "freedom," "democracy," "running dog lackey of the Neo-Stalinist Chinese gerontocracy," etc., put all kinds of flags up on their national fire wall, and they won't let them out to visit us any more.
I prefer the latter explanation--it has the wild-eyed conspiracy theory cachet . . .
