I was three days out of surgery, the infectious disease specialists couldn't figure out what had gone wrong (they have still never figured it out )and my family was standing watch at my bedside..... just in case.
Today I feel great, back at the gym, working constantly, recovering financially. Bears can be knocked down with some difficulty but they are damn near impossible to keep down.
I remember the calls, emails and well wishes that came from A2K. I was just thinking about it and thought I'd get on and say thanks again.
If I'd known you were gonna recover,
I wouldn't have been so encouraging.

Probably your fault I did recover....next time keep your mouth shut
Oh hey, you made it...got better?
Never noticed you were back.
So how's the weather?
So...yer back to normal.
Big fukin' deal.
Actually...
...it is a big fukin' deal.
Good for you.
Knew you could do it.
Only the good die young.
f.
If I die tomorrow I made it past dying young.... that, according to many is a genuine miracle right there.....
I remember my bags were packed and my truck running. I knew as soon as the Bear kicked I could make my move on Squinney.
I had a plan where I would put my arm around her as they were lowering the Bear into the ground and say, "He was a good man, Squinney. Is there anything I can do?"
Just to get my foot in the door.
Then, the friggin Bear goes ahead and decides to live and I was back to the plain janes at the feed mill.
Yikes, that was an awful time, Bear! ( Just a year ago? How time flies!) Amazing that you've bounced back so well. It sounds like you're healthier than you have been for years!
It's hard to keep a good man down, y'know.
