how is it that some people can have utter disregard for others? we are all humans or does religion come in the way of humanity?

The problem is that it isn't just about religion. The ones killed hailed from nearly all religions -- Mumbai is a multicultural town. The terrorists are dying to get noticed, they are dying to let everyone know - give us Kashmir or be damned. They want to spread fear, thats it.

Oh, and its that damned Lashkar thing again. How I wish I had an AK 47!

What Lashkar thing? Well for every war that was ever fought it was either over religion, power, or property. You would think with all of the adults in the world it would have more sense to it but I think that it has more chaos than anything else. I think what my friend said was right maybe kids should get married and have parents so that way things like hate or greed would never come up in the first place.

I agree with your viewpoint. These terrorist strifes in India have to do with property basically with a slight smattering of religion.

In today's world, its become fashionable to fight over religion.

Lashkar-e-toiba, Bsingh5. Its a militant outfit based in Kashmir, it has accepted the responsibilty for the Mumbai blasts (according to Times of India, the newspaper I read). If you have been following the news in India over the last few months, you would have known that there have been several of these blasts in other parts of the country -- Delhi, Varanasi,Bangalore. All the recent attacks were carried out by this Lashkar ,LET as they are popularly called

A glimpse (rather, ridiculous) of a modern Indian.

MISS INDIA AT MISS UNIVERSE

Utterly diffident, beats about the bush and looks disastrous. Surprised

"But yeah..", keeps repeating that.
