To all you dads in whatever guise you come in - Happy Father's Day to you.
My own father died several years ago and there are many A2K dads that I rely on for that special fatherly advice. You know who you are (with a special shout out to dys and fishin')
I'm having an unimaginable good Father's Day and I know somewhere my dad is laughing and high-fiving everyone in sight.
Happy Father's Day dads of A2K!
Happy Father's Day!
I'd add a shout-out to DrewDad since it's nice to have a guy here in the currently-parenting-a-little-'un trenches with us, too.
Well ebrown too.
Oh heck this is gonna be another one of those lists that I keep adding to every five minutes so I'll go back to general...
... hope all you great guys get the great day you deserve!
Happy Father's day, hamburger.
Happy Father's day George
Happy Father's day, cj.
Happy Father's day McTag
Happy Father's day Mikey
Happy Father's day Dutchy
Happy Father's day, BoGoWo
Happy Father's day Bud.
And a Happy Father's Day to those women who through no fault of their own must be both Mother and Father to their offspring.
And Bud.
<smiles>
And farmerman....
...did you read that post today?
<sob>
I tried to avoid naming too many names because I knew I'd miss somebody.
Noddy made me think of Mr. B's mom.....
Father is as complicated as mother.
And sooooo important. Fathers are.
Good men.
They're out there.
OI!
:wink:
18 and 15, I've done the hard yards.
And dadpad.
And husker.
See? I knew if I started naming names I wouldn't be able to stop. That is why I typically don't ever start.
I singled out fishin' and dys because they have given me "fatherly advice" over the years. With my own dad gone, even at my advanced age, and even though neither of them are old enough to be my father, I still need that "dad ear" once in a while.
