First of all as some of you might already know, the day before Walter and I left on our wandering about the southwest I went to the storge facility where our RV is stored to bring it home and prepare for our departure the following morning. I discovered that someone(s) had broken into the RV and attempted to remove the DVD player from a shelf (without success). This morning I went to the repair shop to get the RV and had a bill for $474 for repairs. I asked the repairman just how the DVD was anchored on the shelf in such a manner disallowing it's forced removed (Prybar marks) he explained to me that the DVD player was attached to the shelf with Velcro and one need only left it straight up and slide it off the shelf. So it goes. Anyway I get back home and bring in the mail and find a package from Walter containing 3 cd's of pictures from his visit with us (many of which have not been posted on a2k) The lady Diane and meself sat on the patio going through the proof sheets enjoying each and every image. I may select a few of them to post on a2k if Walter doesn't mind.
It would have been cheaper to replace the DVD player!
How nice of Walter to send you such a great gift! The photos that he's posted of his travels have been amazing; having the CD collection must be a blast.
Sooooooo..... are you going to share some or not?

Ok my communication skills are lacking, the bastards did not get the DVD as they could not figure out how to detach the velcro. The bill I got today was for repairs to the damage they had done trying to get the DVD out (mostly from breaking out the side window/escape window with crowbars.
That's the reason, why a friend of mine never locks his car.
If someone wants to break in they do more damage to the window
and doors as they possibly can steal. (The car itself has a fuel cut off,
so they can't take that).
Well, at least you have three great CD's now and lovely pictures to
look at.
You're communication skills are just fine, dys!
I meant that if they had just lifted the DVD player out and taken off with it you would have gotten off easier in the long run - the last time I priced DVD players they were pretty cheap.
Actually I'm thinking the boneheads could have just smashed in a window and reached in and unlocked a door but they used crowbars to dismantle the escape window tearing the **** out of the side of the RV.
Our brightest and best prefer white collar crime, you see....
