Gus was not feeling good this last times:

if i would have known that , i could have smuggled some across the border today . we went for a drive along the st. lawrence river this morning , crossed the 1000 island bridge and took the backroads to watertown , NY .
farmers' fields all lush and green after all the rain , quite beautiful .
we were given a small clump of hoastas some 40 years ago - must have given away a few hundred plants over the years .
when i see that garden stores charge up to $10 a pot , i wonder how much the hostas on our lot are worth - perhaps i'm a "hosta millionaire" ?
