No. Well not that I'm aware of. What made you ask?

The million posts to a2k from users in China. I guess the questions are benign.

Oh. They have access to the internet but certain sites are off limits (google was banned for example). They do have thousands of civil servants tracking people's use and they rely on neighbourhood spies - apparently.

Maybe they're not from mainland China anyway - I saw Singapore get a mention somewhere and there are large groups of ethnic chinese throughout south east Asia.

I suspect we have an ESL teacher on the books who thought this would be a good way of helping his class.

I'm not sure she or he is right though.

It was a good idea, but there are too many questions. Perhaps the teacher should have offered up more sites. Or fewer students.

Maybe if you need a search done, and it is censored, you can post it here and we can do it for you on the US Google and send you the link in a PM.

That's great, Green Witch. Man, I just feel subversive, all of a sudden. Would be nice if Mr. Chan already had send as well as receive PMs.

Raymond, You might want to check the US NPR (similar to the BBC) for news. I understand they are not allowing censorship: NPR

I think by going through the A2K server you can avoid the CCP censorship. I am willing to try a link you can't open on your end and see if we can send it to you from here. Pick something that the CCP would love for you to not see and I will search it and post what I find as links here.
