O.K. I admit it. I am completely hooked on this site. I realized it tonight. Now I know that once in awhile the site is down for a few minutes.........I suppose that it is to be expected, and I can deal with that.
But tonight there was something different. First the site got very s-l-o-w. Then, when it came on, it was minus the smilies, the avatars, and all the bells and whistles. And THEN, it seemed to lose all its character, and looked like it was typed on an old typewriter. I started to PANIC! 
Thoughts went racing through my mind. What would happpen if A2K did not come on again................ 
I was starting to get slightly hysterical- I didn't know what to do.........and then Craven fixed it. All better! My blood pressure dropped, a tentative smile 
came over my face, and I knew that everything is going to be o.k.! 
Thank god mass hysteria was avoided.....
ah - now you know what I mean by skeletal.
I am hooked on the net in general at present - especially chat - 'cos I can't afford to go out - (better next week - my tax refund is coming - phew!) - and I don't like to say anything about it to friends, cos thwey will offer to pay and stuff.,, but i did not notice A2k's little slump.
I've yet to see you in A2K's chatroom, Miss Deb!

But - I normally chat on MSN or yahoo (I like Yahoo cos you can doodle withthe person you are chatting with)
Drawing is one of my five favourite activities...
Phoenix - on yahoo you can opt for certain spaces to chat in, that do various things.
One of them summons up a white space and a bunch of coloured crayons - you can have thin, medium and thick lines - you can both draw while you chat.
You can renew the white page whenever someone wants to
you can also play noughts and crosses, and there are other options which I have not explored

I love that one! That 'imviroment' is so fun! I'm forever sketching on that one!
Basically its a background to your Im messages. you can select which ones you want and then use it. you chat normally but when the other party is still typing you can sketch with your mouse.. you know.. free hand kinda thing and its actually a good stress reliever when you have good company!
