I heard about this.
WHat amazes me is what people swapped things for.For the guy he was swapping up but for the people he was swapping with they were definately getting the raw end of the deal.
Tho I suppose if its what you want then its a good trade.

I was thinking that too.

I think they just wanted a place on his blog.

If this becomes international -BIG- news, who ever he has traded with with have thier own 15 minutes of fame.

So, in a sense, they didnt trade down TOO much..

I'm going to shamelessly promote this thread:

which is another example of the current blurring of the lines between stardom and reality.

I'm not so sure MG, I read about Kyle in the Sunday paper, and he says he will not trade for something that's totaly out of reality.

I'm always amazed at what people will go out and spend good money on, so I guess it depends on what you want/need.

A fish pen for a door knob...sounds fair to me...I've got pens all over the house, but no extra door knobs.

I'm gonna start a Virtual Swap on another thread! This should be fun....

I'm impressed with Kyle, too. He seems to have some effort and imagination behind what notoriety he's gotten, rather than just being somewhere at a certain time. I didn't read the whole site but I read about the "Yahk" episode -- he had a whole lot to do with making that entertaining and interesting.

I think it is a cool idea as well.
And if you can get something big enough to trade for a home, so be it.

I will watch this 'exchange"

that is interesting Noddy

I have to agree.
That woman needs to keep her mouth shut.
What she is saying is absolutly innappropriate, and in my opinion, should shut down the case

I read about this too, what a strange and funny story! Some people are so clever.

Stared a bit at some of the things he was offered ... someone offered her virginity in exchange for what he was trading at the time ... I mean, huh? Laughing

I wonder what the fair market value would have been on that.....

Ow... the price of virginity... Perhaps very high, but I can understand Kyle refused the offer, seeing how he always manages to make pictures of the deal... And he'd have to check the quality of the merchandise... Embarrassed

I reckon he could go much farther then his goal of a house though... Who knows what the rich and famous are willing to barter in order for a luagh or two?

Anyways, I wish him the best of luck. He seems to put considerable effort in making this fun for himself and the people he trades with!

Naj.
