book holder for bike

I'm looking for a book holder that is shaped rather like an "S". It hooks over the control panel of an exercise bike or treadmill, with a reverse curve facing the person so as to hold a book. The reverse curve in front holds the book in place.

I've used these in various gyms, but have no idea where I can buy one. Any ideas?

Thanks, Reyn, but the one I've used didn't need installation; it just hooked over the console.

Sorry, guess I wasn't much help. I guess phoning around the various gyms probably wouldn't either. They more than likely won't have a clue.

I'll try doing some more searches later tonight.

Thanks very much. I just wanted to be clear about what I'm looking for. It's for a friend who uses a treadmill in the gym where I live; she wants to be able to bring it with her and than take it home afterwards. We had some once, as I said, but they disappeared & she doesn't feel much like having that happen to one of her own.

If she can find one of her own.

In case anybody else is interested, here it is:

Book Holder

The dumb part about it was that this was one of the one's that I looked in my search, but thought it wasn't suitable! Laughing

Glad you found what you wanted.

I have a friend who watches DVDs while she exercises. This would probably work for that, too.

Sure. Anything that can be rested in the holder would work. The only problem with DVDs, and this would apply also to cassettes and CDs, is the chance of unseating the player by making a sudden movement and thus jerking the headphone cord and pulling the player off the holder.
