I've been out drinking all night and returned home about 30 minutes ago. I walk in the house and my cat is going nuts, meowing like crazy and standing on her hind legs and scratching my thighs, her way of communicating that she is starving. It occurred to me that I had neglected to fill her food dish before I left the previous evening.
I reached in the cupboard and pulled out the bag of unopened food. The minute I broke the seal on the bag she begin to move in rapid circles around her dish, still meowing like crazy.
That's when I had a plan. I filled the dish on the cupboard as she continued her wailing below me. Then I wrapped cellophane over the whole thing and placed it in the normal spot. She raced toward the food and lowered her head with such speed that it actually bounced a little. (her head, not the bowl)
I started chuckling and went downstairs. I can still hear her upstairs, trying to figure a way to get at that food.
What fun games do you play with your cat?
thanks for the belly laugh..
I like to place a plastic shopping bag handle around my cats chest so it is drapped over his back like a cape. He is scared of the rustling noises it makes so he tries to run away. When he runs the bag inflates and makes a much louder noise. So he tries to run faster and it inflates some more. Freakin' hilarious I tell ya.
Just put a little kitty harness on a cat that isn't used to one. When I do that to my cat he sort of freezes for a moment and then just tips over onto his side.

AAAA....my Lulu would do exactly that too.
does he fall over stiff legged like a falling tree? Now that's entertainment.
No. First he sort of crouches and gives a long low grumbling psuedo-growl and then, still crouched, he tips over.
My girlfreind did that to me. She finally had to take the cellophane off.
Why do the girls tease little Amigo.
.....
Because .... um... 'cause.... I don't know.
Because i'm so cute.
I have a bad habit of cluttering people threads, Sorry Gus.
tape on the bottom of the paws.
Kitten tries to walk on her belly..
When the cat is hungry like that, turn on all 4 burners on the stove, let it heat up, then place the food on the middle of the stove.
Cats like to dance.
Oh you people are evil.
My cat is fun because if you put anything on her at all even if it hardly weighs anything, like just a sock over her back, she droops her stomach down like her back is broken and she can hardly move. She won't do anything but crawl until said object finally falls off. If it's something sticky that won't fall off, she just can't function until you take it off. Good times, good times...

People do that to me all the time too. Personally, I don't see the humor.
