Smile Old people are really funny. I work in a nursing home and there's this one rez who i totally adore, old lady - 86yrs and completely off in the daisies somewhere, likes to rub food and tea into her face. Today she told me that yes, it CAN be alright to eat your children if you are in dire poverty and if you think it's best for them.

So there you go. Bet it don't beat good ol' fried chicken tho.

OR, First of all, welcome to a2k. Some older folks begin to lose their sensibilities in old age (some younger folks too), so don't take that lady too seriously (although you seem to already understand). My father-in-law was one of the most gentle person I've met in my life, and he accused his daughter, my wife, of her trying to kill him with poison food. His mind was not the same.

CrazyD, We all know you do, but that's not a "normal" practice around where I live. We kiss ours. Wink

That was actually a specific, but very obscure, reference.

Anyway, also completely tangential, sorry. Carry on.
