Thank you Drew Dad you helped me out. Now I feel compiled to help out another sap like myself.

I think it's important for new people to get a response to what they post or they tend to go away. I know if Francis and Walter did not interact with me early on I probably would have faded into the computer sunset and never looked back.

Everyone ignores me yet I have like 12,000 posts. BFD. People ignore what they don't want to hear. Truth is hard to take sometimes.

Like the fact that people ignore you in the hope that you will go away?

Try adding stuff to the portal...

I added a bunch of books on gardens with my own reviews and it took a bit of time and my reviews were pretty sappy. One doesn't have to review them oneself though.

I think a giant amount of effort has been put in on the portal and most of that has been by a few sturdy helpers, like Walter.

What is the portal? An apparently great resource that a lot of us never look at, but I guess a lot of people find by googleing. Googling? Goggling?

I've gone and found some interesting unanswered posts of anybodys, and revived them.

I think I'll do that more often.
