I am 45yrs old and have recently reviewed my lifes journey. The theme seems to be directionlessness. Most days I have be able to be in the now. Which for the most part, enables me to fairly content. But is this a bad thing? Sometimes it feels bad.
To my way of thought, being in the "now" just means your spontaneous. I see nothing wrong with that.
There's a lot of pressure on "us" when we're younger, such as, "What are you going to be when you grow up?"
I've never "been" anything really. The job that I did most of my life was just a matter of opportunity and never was planned. I stayed with it because the pay was reasonably good.
Now that I'm retired, my goal is "contentment".
