Dead vegetarian dinosaurs are not that uncommon and very seldom emit an offensive odor.

Look around for a dead mouse.

We had a similar problem in our office in the not to distant past. It turns out that some brilliant piece of work had been pouring her unfinished coffee into her plant before disposing of the cup. The coffee, of course, contained quite a bit of cream in it.

Has anyone thought of calling the maintenance department?

and maintaince is doing what about it?

If the answer is nothing. call again, and again until something is done.

It is in your lease I'm sure to have these things taken care of.

Document, document document. If it isn't written down, it didn't happen.

My old place of work used to stink often.

It was just dead rats in the basement. 100+ year old house/office, and KFC was right behind it.

Or the fact an Asian whore house was being run in the same building upstairs.

We get that too.We have an unused toilet downstairs and when the water in it evaporates over time as its being left unused, it lets the stench from the drains through.
The water acts as a barrier.
