He was apprehended trying to hitchike into Syria.
Begin.
Considering that Iraq had no "air defense" to speak of, don;t think he is a important catch !!
What gives us the right to catch these people. We attack their country and then we catch them. What is this?
When will we catch that whole stinking Bush family, when will we catch Cheney, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld and the whole bunch of old neofascist farts who pretend the US is a free country with free speech, and from there have the guts to tell other countries they should adapt to this model. This is essentially the same as forcing people to adapt to maffia, or to suffer consequent attacks if they don't. Same thing - the US is not a democracy any more, but a giant criminal organisation.
If you really want to catch something, catch some intellect.
ex·tor·tion (ĭk-stôr'shən)
n.
Illegal use of one's official position or powers to obtain property, funds, or patronage.
You guys are truly struggling with your pro-Saddam role. You can't even appreciate subtle humor.
Humor? Well, how else would an iraqi aviation minister get to Syria besides hitchhiking?
I don't know. Try asking the Iraqi Information Minister.
"You guys are truly struggling with your pro-Saddam role."
I get it -- one is either pro-war or pro-Saddam. But that's like having a choice between crime and slime. I'll take neither, thanks!
"You guys are truly struggling with your pro-Saddam role"
this is neither subtle nor humour, it reeks.
What reeks is your "extortion" comment above.
Dyslexics Untie!
cjhsa,
I don't agree with it being extortion either. But that doesn't stranslate into a pro-Saddam role.
I wonder what the Iraqi people think of the $82B that was given to Saddam Hussein by the U.N., that was part of the "oil for food" program? Think they saw much, if any, of it?
I'm sorry but I find the ramblings above to be incomprehensible.
