The Second Annual A2K Mardi Gras Parade

Obviously New Orleans is cutting back a bit on Mardi Gras, but the Good Times will roll:

Mobile, Alabama which hosted its first Mardi Gras in the early 1700's is celebrating from February 10th to February 28th:

Galveston, Texas will have twelve days of celebrations:

www.MardiGrasGalveston.com

and the Rio carnival, Latin, Caribbean and all:

www.BrazilCarnival.com

The A2K celebration starts tonight and will continue through Fat Tuesday, February 28.

Parties, parades and all street entertainment should be posted here.

Noddy! What a great idea!!!
I remember last year's Mardi Gras parade thread. Lots of fun. Took us a week to clean up.

Oh, look! Gus has already broken out the beads and spray paint...

I'm not so sure about the pink lame gowns, Jes. Has RP definitely made up his mind? If not, may I suggest this one instead? Something about it just screams "Region" to me.
