Im trying to declutter as we will be moving soon.
Im wondering if I had anything worth hanging onto which may be an antique of the future.

In particular, a Star Wars item.
I have an interactive electric Yoda, and yes he is as cute as he sounds.
bout 8 inches high, in his outfit, fantastic rubber face, with batteries he speaks to me.......Do or do not, there is no try.....among lots of other phrases.

Do yuo think I should keep this as a future antique?

Better if he was in his original box, but seal him up and save him for twenty years or so.

Make a reasonable amount of money on him, you will.

Determining what will and will not be worth anything in the future is hard because it depends on how many of it survive and how many people want that item. Supply and demand my dear. Assuming that people will not stop wanting Star Wars stuff in the future, your little guy could be worth $25 or $2,500. Depends on how many were made and how many remain in mint condition.

Search for his value on Ebay. Popular commerical items like Star Wars tend to fluctuate over time because the value is based on emotions and not skill.

Before you pack him away, take out the batteries.

I see what you mean, its only £11 on ebay.
I worked in a toy shop when the second lot of films came out.I got mine in sale at £20.
I really wanted one and I think I was the only person to buy one.I think the original £40 price tag put people off.

I reckon Il hang on to it, cant do any harm.
I reckon as no electronic Yodas were made the first time around in the 70's this may be a collectors item in the future.
