I just assumed it had to look innocuous because what mother wouldn't wonder why her kid's apple juice looked so hazy in that high ball glass.
And I was slamming the general "blame the parents" mantra that always seems to surface whenever anything like this happens, so no worries.
Almost all babies like beer.
Reminds me of a time when my oldest was still bottle feeding. We were out for dinner at a brewpub and we ran out of formula, and she was getting fussy... so, we gave her a little light beer mixed with water about 1/2 and 1/2. People were asking about how she liked her "apple juice".
Wouldn't the attorney come to the $75K figure? She goes to the lawyer, explains her case, and he/she then sets the amount she's looking for?
I have a lawyer friend that got a few grand for a guy just for getting bit by a mosquito in CVS. That's crazy right there.
there's this one cashier at CVS that really annoys me.
How much do you think I could get for that?

Get 'em to post something online, and you could get 'em fined and/or jailed.
I didn't mean to sound like I was slamming parents. I didn't mean that at all. Since I wasn't there quite a few things just can't be known yet.
1. Was it in a restaurant glass or the child's personal cup?
2. Was it from a mix like someone suggested?
I understand the concerns of all involved. I just don't understand the $75,000 amount. Sure, the restaurant should pay the ER bill, without a doubt. But I hardly think it would amount to $75,000.
I am sorry if I made it seem like I felt this was more the mom's fault than anyone's because I definitely do not believe that. It's a very unfortunate mistake that could have had even more dire consequences. Thankfully, it didn't.
i always thought my sister is just paranoid, but she actually does taste whatever drink she orders for her son for precisely this possibility of a mix-up. she could have been some $75,000 richer by now, gotta talk some sense into her.
Dasha, you should direct her to my attorneys . . . Robb, Cheatham and Howe . . . they take care of business . . .
Ya just gotta know this lawsuit giddiness is in the U.S.
No wonder the premiums for insurance are so crazy there.
The course I just finished would call this opportunistic fraud.
Now the kid's going to want to go to Applebee's every day..........??
