Thank you! Someone on my European wishlist wanted

I appreciate the input.

CJ, may I take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your wonderful pressy, and ask that you send it by express courier so that it arrives in time for Hogmanay.

Merry Christmas

Ellpus.

Wild Turkey...

You're treading a thin line, there. You could've been dinged for a TOS violation, had we not all known that CJ is, in fact, a wild turkey.

So, just embarked from Bev & More with lots of goodies,
including your recommendations for a good bourbon.

Ellpus, my love, I wish you a very Merry Christmas as well -
the burbon however, is for another European Wink

Yeah, Drew, at times I am a wild turkey, although I prefer
a wild goose.

How's Jack Daniel's "Gentleman's Jack?" I don't drink whiskey, but it's not cheap.

Kind of like Captain Morgan "Private Stock." Now that be some good shiiiit.

I've seen Jack Daniels there too, but it's a rather popular
brand and also a favorite in Europe. I just wanted something
more American.

I don't drink whiskey or bourbon (what's the difference?).

All bourbon is whiskey, but not all whiskey is bourbon.

Hey, I was right:

What's the difference between bourbon and whiskey?

Very interesting, thanks for the link Drew.
Bourbon is clearly the better choice then.

Gus is thinking of JW Red Label.

That is one of those noxious blends which always tastes like burnt caramel to me.

My BIL drinks Maker's Mark, Kentucky bourbon whiskey, my father drank Seagram's V0 (Canadian whiskey), I prefer single malt scotch but I always have a bottle of JWR in the cupboard.

Best American whiskey? A personal fave is Maker's Mark Bourbon...

By the way, Marker's Mark was a great hit, and even I took a taste and
liked it, especially the after taste is very pleasant.

I used to drink Green River when I was bikin. It gave you such a headache that youd get into fights just for the endorphins
