You know, male sea otters practice extortion.
They kidnap cubs when their mums are diving for food, and won't give them back, until the mother otter gives the big bullies her catch.
Also, since sea otters were driven to sea permanently, the males have problems hanging on for coitus. So...they grab the female's nose, sometimes causing such severe injuries that she dies.
