So all you NY A2Kers... did the city feel especially hip yesterday from around 100 to 230? jp was in the city and I would like to think somebody noticed.
You were there for an HOUR and a HALF? That's all?
Layover?
Lunch.
I was in NJ for a press proof for work and had a 3 hour break so we went in for a bite to eat and then right back. It was like a big tease. My sister lives in Queens and we were trying to find time to meet up but it just didn't work out. So close yet so far away. Still an 1.5 hours in NY is better than 1.5 hours in seacucus.
Tell all, where'd you eat? did you get there by taxi? What did you order? Was it good? What was the weather like? Was there unusual static cling?
I was wondering what all the excitement was about.
i was all excited here in vienna, and had no idea why. and that was jpin in new york! i should have known!
We ate at
Chanterelle.
It was delicious. Crab ravioli appetizer. Nantucket Bay Scallops for the entree. The printer we were at took us so we used their car to get there. The weather was a balmy 25F (compared to 0F when we left Milw that morning) and clear. Static cling was normal, although there was some chafing do to the tight confines of the airplane... my legs are to long.
It's always exciting in NY, NY
Hey LoneHaranger... welcome to A2K.
