Personally, I consider myself on the colorful side of perfectly normal, but when I was an impressionable child I yearned for the dignity of becoming an Established Eccentric.

What about you?

I have been told on numerous occasions that I am eccentric...I prefer to call myself oddball.

I am on the neurotic side of normal. I have a Type "A" personality, and tend to become anxious about stupid things. Then I talk to myself, and I am alright.

i wish i were exotic, but neurotic is the best out of the available choices. "different" is the adjective i'd choose myself.

You always strike me as normal Edgar; although, coming from me that might not be helpful.

". . . the colorful side of perfectly normal". I rather like that.

If I could classify myself for you, I surely would.

I think I'd be normal if I were less optimistic.

Enthusiastically normal? Is that a category?

Howcome there's no "all of the avove" in that poll? What category I fit in changes from day to day, sometimes from hour to hour or even minute to minute. You don't have "Quixotic" as a choice either, Noddy.

With my honey colored skin, my jet black hair, long eyelashes and deep, black eyes, how can I be anything but exotic.

But the people at work don't think so - in a recent anonymous feedback I was rated as aggressive...

I am on the neurotic side of eccentric, or vice versa.

Occasionally, I have a moment of normality, especially when someone nuttier is around me.

Don't worry about it, G. That's what average workers always say about go-getters.

And if it makes you feel better, to this strawberry blonde, blue-green eyed, fair-skinned Southern American woman, you seem VERY exotic indeed! Oooooo.....!

For where I live, I am exceedingly normal.

However, I suspect that if I were to travel to G's place of birth, I would be considered quite exotic.

Hmph. I need to travel more.

Neurotic. I am like Phoenix in that I get worked up over stuff and have to "talk myself down" or have my hubby "talk me down".
