What does it mean?

I heard there is some special meaning when a person's age and birth date are the same for that one year. Does that make sense? Does anyone have a clue what I am talking about?

For example, my sister is 28 today, on the 28th of Nov. It only happens once in a life time.......what is it called?

It's called 'inevitable' unless you die before you hit 31 or you were born on the 29th of February.

Now, if she happened to be 2005 on 20 May (20 05) 2005 - that'd be fairly special Laughing

I was 22 on 2/22/2002! That was cool. I looked forward to it since I was a kid, but (gasp!) nothin' much happened. Smile I was also born at 5:22, and there were 2's in my weight too, but I can't remember how many... However, it doesn't seem to give me any special powers or anything...

Wouldn't be too sure - my number twos are always special...

Always was concerned about that little kid who turn 6 on June 6 back in 1966. I heard another few will be turning 6 next June on 06/06/06 something about those 3 consecutive 6's is just downright devilish.

For what it's worth, I enjoyed 1997, 1998 and 1999 since my birthday is in September and on the U.S. calenders that came out to being 9/8/97, 9/8/98 and then 9/8/99...I have a feeling that has some name too but I don't give it a lot of thought.

What about the person who has the birthday of August 8th? In 1988 it was 8/8/88...from all directions even in a mirror and even upside down...what the heck is that all about? What is that called?

Well, same backwards is a palindrome.

I think there is a geometrical term for 'same in a mirror' - escapes me right now though...

But now it turns out those kids aren't evil at all, because 666 is a mistranslation. Dammit. Now when I see someone with a numeric birthmark, I don't know if they're evil or not.

I don't know about any special meaning, but it is called your Golden Birthday. It only happens once in your life.

Well how about when your age is the same as your birth year? Is that also golden and if it is a different year from where the date of the month matches the age does that mean there are 2 golds and if they occur the same year is it a double gold? For example if a person is born December 4, 2004 is there something extra special on December 4, 2008 the day that they turn 4?

So why is it called your golden year if it doesn't have any special meaning?.....
