Could it be that when it gets cold and we bundle up more we actually become more hospitable to each other .
Personally, I become more hospitable to a girl who takes her clothes off
And the coldness causes a small problem on the guy's end, if ya know what I mean...
Well, a nickel is a nickel, dime is a dime,
house full-a chillun and now one's mine
I gotta bundle up and go I gotta bundle up and go
Well, you high pile o' women sho gotta bundle up and go
May be old, may be grey, you ain't too old just to shift them gears,
You gotta bundle up and go
You gotta bundle up and go
You gotta bundle up and go
Sho' gotta bundle up and go
Yeah!
Well, mama tol' papa, night afor' las',
"Look-a here, papa, you ain't doin' me right"
I gotta bundle up and go
I gotta bundle up and go
Well, you high pile o' women
Sho' gotta bundle up and go
It did not work for J.L.Hooker.
It's cold in Nebraska. It's 39 degrees outside, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Lincoln, knew people from WP (Ridders)
Quote:...knew people from WP (Ridders)
A good friend of mine is a Ridder and she's dating my best friend. And another Ridder girl is dating a former baseball coach of mine.
It really is a small world, but especially in good old Nebraska.
I just talked to my Grandma - she is 92 today, she was talking a little about the weather today also.
I was a freind of the Ridder that died in a car wreck a bunch of years back.
Oh yeah...sad stuff, that.
I think cold people communicate more for instance this place was assigned a 39 degree constant yet everyone is hanging out making good small weather talk.
Hey the river has frozen over...lets take turns reading the dictionary.
When it's cold I like to rub up against people. They may think I'm being affectionate, but actually I'm just trying to steal their heat.
Talking also keeps me warm. Or at least it takes my mind off my frozen toes for a while.
When it's this cold out, I feel like talking till the eve of spring.
people nicer to each other when cold? where? ever been in eastern europe? seniors get extra ferocious... playing musical chairs on buses, using their canes to get through live mass towards target quicker, shoving elbows into your stomach to get on the bus first... no no no. winter is the cruelest, most darwinian of times...
Europe will always be a different sspace..but here in the land of land and plenty we open up..or so it seems to me. The other day I was going to the corner store and my neighbor was there by the store now we never say much but hello and there they were opening a peanut butter cup to eat and offered me one of the cups. First time too with a definate chill in the air and slight snow flurries. I really would have taken the cup but I am afraid I am slightly off the sweet peanut buttery thing for health reasons none the less and forever the more cold comfort is there !
