I am tired!!!!
Tom Wolfe said "You can't go home again."
What I think he meant is that you've changed and home is no longer exactly the place you remember.
So even if you're really tired the home you're going to is somehow different.... because you're different.
Even if you're only a few hours different you can't go home again.
Like maybe boys like you more now or something.
Like, whatever.
I dunno.
Just kidding!
Welcome to A2K, knowitall2005. I hope you have a great and relaxing weekend and that all of your dreams come true.
Thank you Boomeran for your kind words.

This was my experience when I made a trip to a small town that I used to live in as a child. I was so disappointed.
Probably everything was pretty much the same. I was just looking at it with different eyes.
i'm home right now, <looks around>, just like i remembered it
I'm home too, but dreading work tomorrow

Maybe when you get there tomorrow, you'll look at it through different eyes?
Not!
Reminds me of that song:
and I'm surrounded by
a million people I
still feel alone
oh let me go home...
I miss you you know
let me go hoooommmmee
I've had my fun
and baby I'm done
let me go home
