Is Kicky OK?

Last I read he had decided to give staying in New York a try, and was going to try and find a sublet. He is probably crashing at a friend's place or sumpin'. The 26th? that's not so long, I had thought he'd been missing longer than that - I'd posted about missing him on the lost a2kers thread yesterday.

Anyway, hope he is fine and happy, or at least grumpy in a good way.

Look forward to seeing what his story is...

I think Kicky posted on NY Bagels, Pizza, Subways, Bums et al thread that he cancelled the moving truck on the day of the move. Last I heard he was learning how to use a cell phone in order to get a job. I'm sure he will check in soon.

Learning how to use a cell phone, that could take days given some of the directions...

I have a cell phone (to keep the better half happy....."in case of emergency") but never, ever use the thing.

I was walking my dog the other day, deep in thought (me, not the dog....although she DID have her eye on a particularly suicidal squirrel who had wandered a fair distance from any tree).....and the phone suddenly started ringing. Monty Python theme tune, full blast, left hand jacket pocket.

I nearly shat myself!

I've just received a letter from Kicky!

Apparently, he's gone to stay with Gus for a while, helping him renovate the rear part of the farmhouse.

What used to be the old slaughterhouse, has now been converted to an animal "theme park", complete with firing range, a "love harness" that would take the weight of a goat and a rather unusual bowling alley for the kids.

He plans to open it in December, in an effort to raise money during the bleak winter months.

He sent a photo of the bowling alley, as Gus bowled the inaugural ball, crying "THIS ONE'S FOR "YOU KNOW WHO".

Hey, isn't that Deb in the No. 1 pin position, covering her eyes?

I like him too osso. But, if he does the things he writes about I'm afraid he could get himself in some trouble. Well, anyway he is a big boy now, and he has to learn how to make the right choices for himself. I hope he is someplace warm and friendly.

Is Kicky Ok ?.....
I had heard {through "reliable" sources} that Gus was going to turn the back of the farmhouse into a brothel that will cater to all sorts of exotic desires. Rumor has it that Gus asked Kicky to help design the individual rooms for maximum pleasure. If the rumors are true,then we probably won't hear from Kicky 'til spring. He's very dedicated to his work

AE, if the things that Kicky hinted about in one of his last posts came true, then NYC is probably doing well by him.

I know he has it in him to find his place, and be happy. I know sometimes one gets a little desperate when things don't happen as fast as you want them. I believe in him. And, your right it's better just to wait, no guesses, and wait for him to bring the good news.

We all miss him.
