Canada has to decide whether to follow the U.S. Ontario has said that they will. Not sure about the rest of the country yet since the changes are governed by the provinces.

A positive leap second will be introduced at the end of December 2005.
The sequence of dates of the UTC second markers will be:

2005 December 31, 23h 59m 59s
2005 December 31, 23h 59m 60s
2006 January 1, 0h 0m 0s

We get one second.

I put this up so no one would forget and guess who forgot?

The funny thing is that I was out drinking and when we got back to the hotel, clean forgot about setting the clocks (you'd think the hotel would have done it earlier that day). My phone automatically resets itself. I woke up with a start when the freakin' alarm on the clock went off at 7am. For whatever reason, I looked at my phone and saw 6am. I was still a little fuzzy headed and I couldn't figure out what the hell was going on! It was awful until it dawned on me...duh.

I think a couple of other provinces has thrown their hat into the ring, but it is by no means unanimous so far.

BC is being wishy washy. Mad

It would be silly for some to be in others not, like the situation with Sask., for example.

I very cleverly reset my clocks before I went out drinking the other night, only I set them forward instead of back. Luckily, I realized my stupidity before I left the house. Otherwise I might've felt a mite peevish the next morning...

And Hawaii.

And Texas has a split personality. Some parts on Central Time, some on Mountain.
