There is a lot of oil in that area and it is relatively close to the surface. What about hydrocarbon saturated shale ignited by sparks created during the landslide?

There was a address for such suggestions, Acquiunk. Why don't you drop them a line.

farmerman is beginning to worry me. He was one of the people against teaching ID in our schools, and his most recent post said he wished the IDers would win. He said he said that because he likes Behe, but one doeasn't change their philosophy on ID vs evolution on the basis of "I like x." Yes, I'm worried.

So.

Is farmer sailing? Seems like he was getting ready for a long trip on the water not long ago. What's he up to?

Has anyone heard from him?

He left a message in one of the art threads that he would be out for a while. But, it has been a while, so he should be back soon.

As I recall, Gus, Farmer said he was off to help build homes for displaced hurricane victims. I forget where that was.

Wherever he is, I hope he is OK. I was only thinking the other day that I hadn't seen his beard around for a while.

If he IS helping to rebuild homes.......then all power to him.

Nice bloke........a bit on the ugly side, but nice all the same.
