I was reading a post by littlek the other day and she was trying to be serious about all the disasters taking place in the world today. One such disaster was the dreaded "earthquackle", as she called it.
I've never heard of it and didn't want to appear uninformed.
What is an earthquackle?
Something to do with stampeding ducks?
Maybe when the earth starts to quackle in the midst of a quake.
I've never thought of that particular angle.
I suppose it's the time when you are meant to duck.
(I hope noone finds faults with my twisted attempt at humor this morning)
If all the ducks in China flap their wings at the same time, is an earthquackle felt in California?
Does ducking help in earthquackles?
I would have thought getting down was better.

Huh? Nobody could get ducks to do that.
It would be like herding cats, and, as you know jes, herding cats is a no no.
Getting down? You mean like boogie?
Interesting thread here...let's see if it starts shaking things up for the rest of the board.
I'm trembling with anticipation.
I have earthquackles in my pants
wait did I say that outloud?
I just need someone to tell me there's a duck breed called the Scaley Richter and then I'll just lose it.
On the other hand why should I wait?
There was just an earthquackle here, in my neck of the woods.
It was 7.1 on the mallard scale.
What was it on the Muscovey scale?
I lived through a 7.5 teal.

Did you make a typo on your second word, Dlowan?
If you DID, then the answer is yes, as I tried this once and the young lady in question said that the earth moved.
Earthquakle, not earthquackle!
