Do you mean capital cities of countries which are considered to be part of the Pacific zone? It depends very much on the context I think.

It might also be a bit tricky.

For example, Suva is the capital of Fiji which is in the Pacific but Canberra is the capital of Australia which has its eastern coast on the Pacific Ocean but Canberra itself is a long way from the coast.

If you could clarify what you need to know it might be that the members here can help.

Yes i see what you are getting at, all i can say is in the research that i am doing, part of the question is take the name of a capital city of a country in the Pacific. As you can see Pacific has a capital P, not sure if that makes a difference, but apart from that i cannot be more definite. Hope this may help you help me!!!!!

I think I understand.

Try here link

You'll see a range of countries which are defined as being part of the "Pacific Rim". Take that carefully though. Canada and the United States, for example, are Pacific Rim countries but their capital cities are inland and on the eastern side of each country. They do have Pacific coasts but they are a long way from the political capital city of each country.

On the other hand a country like New Zealand is a Pacific country. Its capital city is Wellington which is at the bottom of the North Island.

Being yet more specific is this link

link

which specifies countries which are actually located in the Pacific.

I hope that helps. If you have a bit more info about the specific inquiry you have to make and you choose to post it here I'm sure you would get other responses which may help.
