These last couple weeks or so I have steadily gotten to the point where I don't feel bad, meaning my discomfort has been manageable and occasionally in the course of the day I can actually forget it. I'm running again although I'm still building back to my usual 5 daily miles.
Last night I dj'd a wedding last minute and had to move my own equipment up some stairs and onto a stage. It was the first time I've tried to move anything. To my delight, my muscles seemed happy to be stretching and moving a bit. This morning, although I woke up sore, it was the normal rolling out of bed sore from being on my feet six hours and loading and unloading. I quickly walked it right out.
Point being, today I don't feel not bad, but for the first time in 12 weeks I feel REALLY GOOD!!!!! I'm going to go run, and I'm going to make it a point to set up my own show tonight and not get my cub to help. It sounds like a cliche but I had forgotten what feeling good was like. I am so thankful. Now back to the weight bench and ditch these grandma arms. I can actually take my two hands and completely circle the largest part of my upper thigh, I'm ready to tone back up.
I feel so good I wanted to share the news with my A2K buds who were so kind and concerned while I was sick. I believe I'm returning to form.
