Going Out

Our side has already melded. We have one completed Canasta, and one incomplete meld of cards one card off from a completed Canasta. I have two cards remaining in my hand one of which is a wild card. If I can make a second Canasta with one of my two remaining cards, can I then lay that card down to complete the second Canasta, then discard the wild card to go out assuming my partner gives me permission?
