I have a scrap of a song I heard many years ago running through my head, it starts "There's a sign that the road men are working today, their beacons are blazing to show us the way, their iron mouth monsters they eat up the side of our country of flowers, there's nowhere to hide". Does anyone recognise it?

I’m pretty good with music trivia but I’ve never heard of these lyrics or anything close; however, if you type those lyrics into GOOGLE or any search engine, you should get your answers easily.
