Is my friend actually into me or trying to see if I’m into him

I have this friend that I don’t get to see that often but every time we get together things seem to happen. At 1st some things just seemed friendly but the more they happened they started feeling like flirting. There has been times he will do something then pull away for awhile I also know I caught myself doing the same. I think I pulled back a few times because I didn’t want things to cross a line seeing as we were seeing other people at the time. Not sure if that’s why he pulls away. At 1st it was playfully shoving me, always standing next to me putting his arm around my shoulders or hand on my back, hugging that lingers, blew me a kiss, kissing on the cheek,wanting more than 1hug throughout the night, when I catch him staring he looks away, talking to other people across the room but looking in my direction, 1 day I walked up to him to say hi and he said hey hottie then had a look on his face like that slipped out. But the other nite a bunch of us were out and he started singing a song so we all started throwing dollars at him and came over to me lifted the corner of his shirt and pointed for me to put it in his waist which seems like he’s going a little farther then the small things. So is he really into me and is he trying to see if I’m into him
