The Alın Ak Score
“He who wishes to tear himself away from the pursuit of darkness,
From the hauntings of the night—
Must seize the last ray of the setting sun
Strongly, very, very strongly…”
“Into the rhythm of the sea, I long to enter—
To strike against the rocks like waves...
Shattering into droplets and spray,
To merge… within the oncoming tide!”
I. Sonnet of the Summit (The Rock)
Prelude. Noon. No shadow.
Grave. The voice of the singer is dense, like basalt, vibrating in the lower register.
You reached the peaks. The bridges lie below—
For those who seek but profit and their bread.
Here, only You, the Rock, the sky o’erhead,
And salt of earth, stilled in a tearous flow.
To step ahead—and quench the thirsting soul,
Or linger here—and thus the Call betray.
The bow is stayed, the moment drifts away,
As silence aches to scream and take control.
O, Truth! If I am Rock and hardened stone,
Whence comes this humid flame within my bone?
Why does the dew along my scarring run?
Below—the sands. Above—the light-spun floor.
You stand between. No answer at the door,
Until the heavens strip the abyss undone.
Recitative: Below lies the past. In it is the former you, the frantic seeker who thought the Ideal was across the seas. Ahead is no shore, but a Precipice: behind it—Pure Light. And you stand.
To leap is to betray your thirst. To stay is to betray its Call.
The string (Tar) trembles—like a vein at the temple. The bow (Kamancheh) stalls—like the pendulum of eternity. The breath (Tutek, flute)—a measured rhythm: High tide... Low tide...
II. Rubai of Fusion (The Leap)
The Jump. Not Downward—but Inward.
Moderato. Inner gyration. The rhythm of the Daf accelerates, entering the mystical Sky.
You do not fall below—you fall deep in,
Breaking the bounds of fear and where you’ve been.
The Rock is your own breast. The ribs—the cliffs.
Falling’s the path where light and love begin.
You did not shatter—you became the Rock,
So those exhausted by the ocean’s shock
Might find within your rift a cleansing grace,
And see their shore within your spray’s unlock.
Silence breathes a single Name, a holy sound,
Which through the mire and noise we’ve always bound.
The scar upon the chest out-sings the mugam,
When spirit, finally replaced, is found.
Improvisation: And so you throw yourself. Not out of pain—but out of the great Longing for Unity. The Rock is your flesh. The Precipice is the limit of reason. Falling is the only path to the Heart. A cry of Essence. Entry into the Great Rotation. You become the Rock itself, so that in your spray others see not death, but the ablution before the Encounter.
III. Haiku of the Finality (The Light)
Culmination. Dissolution.
Sotto voce. Point of no return. The voice fades into overtones.
Heaven—underfoot.
Fall into the Light. All dwells—
Within us. Dawn breaks.
Coda
One powerful strike on the Daf. The resonance departs into the Universe.
To enter the rhythm of the sea does not mean to drown. It means to become the shore. So that those who follow have something to strike against—and be reborn.
Segah is not merely a mode. It is a state between Earth and Heaven. Between you and your Higher Self. Did you think you were building a Bridge? No. You are that Bridge. When you stand on the Rock. and especially—when you sing in the fall.
Whisper into the world's silence:
Anladınmı? Hər şey sənin içindədir. Nura düş.
(Have you understood? Everything is within you. Fall into the Light.)
