MANIFESTO FOR THE ABOLITION OF BOTH PROSTITUTION AND PORNOGRAPHY

Arguments:

1. They are the essential link with which capitalism infiltrates the deepest spheres of
our life, and its most essential and destructive weapon. Since it is the purest form in which our very being is commercialized, our life through our body, and the vital element that makes life have meaning and the spark that ignites life itself: passion. It infiltrates the most vulnerable and that should be most protected: sexuality and affection.

2. It obstructs the organic process of falling in love, of finding and enjoying love in an authentic way.

Prostitution and pornography are, necessarily, a spectacle, false in their nature:
performance and deception. And they distract people from putting effort where they should be: growing as people to feel better about themselves and to undertake the search for true love with joy and confidence.

2. The destruction of the possibility of believing in one's own ability to seduce: and creates the unnecessary notion in the "client" that to access intimacy one must pay.

4. Destroys relationships or stagnates them in falsehood: prostitution finds its broad market in people who are married. Pornography feeds on addiction and interferes with a couple's process of exploring sexuality in each other's bodies. The shock factor of pornography robs us of the key element of eroticism: THE MYSTERY. And it inserts into our minds the notion that sex = genitals and nothing else.

5. The way in which pornography shows genitals and the way in which it interacts with them never has the staggered nature that is natural to sex (there is no caressing, slow knowledge, incorporation of all the senses, such as speech, hearing, eye contact, smell…)

And if there is, there is no value in the conversation, nor anything that makes a person excite us: which is knowing things about the person, having access to the person's knowledge, and therefore their mind and their ability to eloquence, to narrate their own life, or anything else, THE SENSE OF HUMOR!!!!!, etc. and to interact with the narration of the other's life and the other's sense of humor. The sex that we see in porn and the one that is had with a whore does not add any value or meaning and leaves us empty. Thus limiting sex to the most abundantly stupid and stupidifying thing in the world: the entry and exit of genitals, the clash of genitals, genitals genitals and more genitals.

6. Someone is always humiliated as a result:

-- When it’s the “actors”:
- The man has managed to dominate and subjugate a woman is the message that ALWAYS comes out of it. Violence and humiliation.
- The woman has managed to "trick" a man into ******* her. Emotional violence and humiliation.

- Both: it creates the false need for us to compete with each other and that there must always be a "losing" party for someone to have sex.


-- When it’s the ones watching it:

- The feeling of being the loser who is not enjoying sex in himself/herself but only seeing others having it (mental health reports confirm the low self-esteem that always follows pornography addiction).

- The message given to the partner, if there is one, that he/she is not enough to satisfy the erotic needs and that other people need to be involved, creating a vicious circle that feeds back and never closes.

- The "partners" of the "actors"/"prostitutes"... pppff please.

7. The most dangerous part: There is no real filter that allows us to distinguish which people in the pornography are doing it "with consent" (pffff) and which are being trafficked.


And even worse: THERE ARE CHILDREN!!!!! With Only Fans it has become EVEN EASIER. Because it is not truly filtered. But you don't even need to go to a paid site: I myself have found children, on PUBLIC pages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pages labeled as "incest", in the case of the one I found (which is another topic, ******* ew). I have seen it myself. After which I started self-harming and ended up in a psychiatric hospital because I almost committed suicide... So…

8. (Prostitution): The false idea that "sometimes there is no alternative". Returning to how pornography/prostitution are the preferred tool of capitalism and the destruction of organic societies. The defeatist message that is extracted from it:

- Blame, again, poor people for their poverty, as if this poverty has no origin nor people who are responsible and have names and surnames. People who rape children and eat human flesh and aim to reduce the world population and poison us, etc., and that they have even commodified the air we breathe and have separated us from each other and fractured all our communities.

- It belittles the very people who find themselves in poverty, and the organic and anti-capitalist survival tools: such as squatting or recycling.

- It allows those who do have resources and who could present themselves as sponsors and benefactors of these people who find themselves in a situation of poverty, to escape their responsibility to redistribute their wealth and help those in need. Obstructing once again, one of the most sacred things that makes us human: solidarity and mutual aid.

- It sends the message that in this world exists the concept of a «useless person», that is, a person who has no ability, no potential, no talent, no intelligence, and that the «only thing» that they are useful for is to be a piece of meat that passes through the hands of these disgusting people who are called «clients».

- It deflects responsibility from those who accumulate resources, allowing these resources to never be redistributed, and condemns us all to normalize misery and never solve it.
(I repeat this point because… for ****’s sake).


9. The sex that is “sold” is of abysmal and infamous quality. The very life of the prostitute and the pornography “actors” is based on deception, on making a miserable cheap show of what love and adoration are. Its obscenity lies in its lack of authenticity, in lying to your face, in pretending, playing with the person’s self-esteem and their ability to discern what is real from what is not, and with their ability to feel desired for themselves. When you really love someone, you would never do that to them. And I personally have never met a whore whose word is worth nothing, because they are all fake. And I have met many whores because I have lived on the streets. Their "job" is deception and falsehood in themselves, creating a society in which falsehood is normalized. When everyone could be ******* well and genuinely if there were not such a great disruption in our network of affections, which is what prostitution and pornography are.


10. It feeds on secrecy. The central tool behind which evil hides, and the necessary element
for its existence, devaluing the most important element in the process of combating evil:
testimony. Since it promotes this idea that there is a sphere that is "private", and that its
privacy must be respected, it forces us to pretend that we have not seen anything when we are witnesses. This deepens individualism, deeply, for all its redundancy, in our society.

You may see who is whoring, or who is a whore, or who is making pornography, and who’s watching it, but you are supposed to look the other way. Thus, we accept to stop being natural witnesses to our surroundings and our community, thus creating blind spots where no one sees what the other is doing, and we open the way to look the other way in the face of this and other crimes against human innocence, and it makes it impossible for us to protect each other.

11. And it goes without saying: it normalizes harassment, apart from the fact that it actually creates it. It normalizes that we look the other way when someone is being harassed around us because the harassment supposedly starts subtly. But in reality it is not. But pornography and prostitution have normalized the hypersexualization of everything and every one of our conversations to such an extent that it has weakened our ability to identify harassment at its very beginning, at its root, when it is still supposedly “subtle.” It therefore weakens our sensitivity, which is vital to feel and identify harassment at its roots, when someone is still “just kidding.” Instead of pointing it out and acting against it, we are supposed to laugh at it.

I’ll give you an example where all this happens at the country level: in Switzerland. Prostitution is legal. In Switzerland, everyone is either a prostitute or a client of prostitution. On a personal experience there, an older, upper-class, white woman suggested that I go and have sex with her in exchange for money right in the supermarket queue, taking advantage of a moment when no one was looking at us, making the money gesture with her fingers and winking at me and smiling, as if I should be happy with the “offer” and not horrified. This is so normalized that “one should not interfere in other people’s lives” that literally no one ever looks at what is happening around them. And they can even hit you right in the middle of the street and no one will see it because everyone is looking the other way. I swear to you on my own life that people will keep walking and not even show that they have seen it. I don’t even need to tell you that harassment is literally the bread and butter of living there. Therefore: hyper-individualization as a consequence.

12. And for the love of all gods: it destroys love, directly. It destroys romance, passion, intimacy, tenderness... Everything that makes life worth living. I say this almost with tears in my eyes if it weren't for the fact that I've already cried enough about it. 

It promotes that people stop seeking to grow as valuable people and that the only “value” that is supposed to be worthy is having money. It shits on culture and eloquence and the things that make a person attractive: security in oneself.

It destroys complicity, which is what makes sex and intimacy special: what is shared only by you and someone else, what is a sanctuary between two people and that makes you feel a sense of belonging and of being wanted.

It destroys THE MYSTERY: a KEY element of the erotic, turning the erotic into a pathetic medical spectacle of viewing genitals.


It destroys the intimate secret: that is, that which allows a precious secret to be shared between lovers in the intimacy of lovers. The secret should not be who you are *******. Because those who keep the secret of who they have fucked are pedophiles and rapists. The secret should be what happens between two consenting adult lovers, who emerge happy from the exchange. It ceases to be a secret if it ceases to have happy effects: if someone emerges more insecure and unhappy from sex, that sex must be investigated, and therefore, it ceases to be private.

If we normalize that you can get a "hookup" by being a complete asshole without human merits such as culture or empathy or courage or honor or eloquence, attention, tenderness, or something!!! And we let a complete son of a bitch have access to a woman just because he can pay some money. Well, then what are we complaining about the "market" for hookups being terrible and that we are not finding even the minimums in the treatment or in the effort. Why are sons of bitches and whores and bitches being rewarded? They deserve nothing! If we have been defending that any son of a bitch can buy his access to a woman's time and beauty and voice and presence, and vice versa, then what are we complaining about? Apart from the fact that men grow up thinking that they have to pay to **** instead of directing their material efforts precisely towards making the person they love happy; that is, towards becoming responsible people who can offer security to their partner.

So enough feeding the egos of complete idiots who already have it big enough because they already control our world by acting as unnecessary intermediaries between us and natural resources, to begin with, and on top of that we make them believe that they can also have us and our bodies just because they have money. And that whoever has the most money gets the most expensive whore, as if the most expensive whore wasn't,… well, the biggest whore!

It’s time to recover dignity and self-esteem, damn it. And I know that there are people, increasingly younger (THERE ARE WHO JOIN ONLY FANS ON THE SAME DAY THEY TURN 18 YEARS OLD, FOR ****’S SAKE), who are victims of all this right now, who are not so much to blame because as a society we have failed them.

But there are a lot of loose disgusting whores who are older and more responsible, but who have a very empty ******* head and really want to hurt and who only care about being the most desired, the one who has "beaten" all the other women/men, even if it means ruining the lives of all the other women/men, who only think about status and image, and who have cold hearts and whose souls are completely empty and miserable, and who open their mouths and don't have a ******* **** of courage to say anything of value. That they are also distorting the image of what it is to be a woman/man, and even though some of us have never let our bodies and our innocence and our love have a price, we end up paying the consequences every day because of them, being harassed on the streets and everywhere.


That some of us have gone to the most extreme lengths to never fall into prostitution (or pornography, which is the same ******* thing), such as eating from dumpsters, recycling our clothes from what we found on the street, and sleeping on benches and in the street and in parking lots and abandoned houses, and putting our lives at risk because we have valued community and the good intentions of people above all else, even if we had died trying to prove it. That we were born and raised in poverty and we were told that it is our fault, even though we are a ******* treasure that because of them and this criminal system that they support we have been humiliated and have been cornered into oblivion and banishment, even though we have dedicated our entire ******* life to saving this world and persecuting those who are responsible for humanity being in such a state of absolute misery.

So, private matter my ass. Go read.
