1014-0729, War, 15-Thousand Bulgarian POWs Blinded.
In the land of the blind a one-eyed man is king. Emperor Basil II, Byzantine Empire wins a war with Czar Samuel, Bulgaria. Basil kills 30-thousand of Sam’s soldiers. He takes 15thousand POW and blinds all of them. He stuck a hot-nail into each eyeball. 1-Man out of every 100-men kept 1-eye, so he could lead them home to Bulgaria. 2-days later, Sam died of a stroke.
For this victory, Basil II earned the title Boulgaroktonos, slayer of Bulgars.
Note: I bet your eye doctor has never heard this story.
1025-1215, War, Boulgaroktonous Emperor Bail II Dies.
1204-0412, War, for revenge, Bulgarian Crusaders dug up his grave. Threw his body in the hole and used the hole as an outhouse. They still use it today at: Church of ST John the Theologian, at the Hebdomad Palace complex, outside the walls of Constantinople, Turkey.

1191-0820, War, Christians Decapitate 2,800-Muslim POWs.
Christian Crusaders decapitate the prisoners at Acre, after a breakdown in negotiations over payment of their ransom. The decapitations take place in full view of the Muslim army from which they were taken.

1314-0519, Adultery, Twin Knights Executed.
Two, French, Norman knight, twin brothers, named “Philippe d’Aunay and Gautheir d’Aunay” were executed for having sex with Princes Isabella, the wife of the king’s eldest son, Louis X.
The two knights also had sex with Blanche of Burgundy, the wife of the king’s third son, Charles IV.
They were caught when Isabella became jealous when she found out the knights were having sex with Blanche. She snitched (sharked) on them.
The knights suffered horrible deaths they were: Flayed, broken on the wheel, burned with hot lead and sulfur, genitals thrown to the dogs and then decapitated.
This story was made into a French movie in 1955, La Tour De Nesle.
Note: Every SHARP office worker wishes they could punish men like this.
