Fisher's exact test

Hi. I'm trying to determine if some locations linked with specific saints are associated with waterfalls. I've counted the presence and absence of waterfalls around these locations and around randomly generated locations. Values are too low for a chi-squared. The p-value from a 2-tailed FET is 0.029. Does this mean that 'since this is less than 0.05, the null hypothesis is not rejected and location and waterfalls are independent.' I'm not sure if this means that the saints' locations are associated with waterfalls.
