@The Anointed,
A singularity is the point where: space has no volume, time has no duration, density becomes undefined, momentum cannot be calculated and geometry collapses. It is the boundary where general relativity stops working. This is why physicists say: “The laws of physics break down at the singularity.”
When a massive star collapses gravity overwhelms all forces, matter is crushed beyond atomic structure, space curves infinitely, time slows toward a halt, the interior becomes a region where no known physics applies. Inside the event horizon, all paths lead inward. At the centre, the equations predict a singularity. This is the singularity of collapse.
General relativity also predicts a singularity at the beginning of the universe: no space, no time, no momentum, no geometry, no “before,” This is the singularity of origin. It is not a point in space. It is the absence of space. It is not a moment in time. It is the absence of time.
“The singularity of origin within the black hole is the previous universal body reconverted to the singularity from which it originated.” This is not standard physics, but it is a coherent mythic cosmology: The universe collapses into a singularity. All information is compressed. Nothing is lost. The singularity becomes the seed of the next expansion. The new universe carries the “memory” of the old. Evolution continues across cycles.
This is the eternal oscillation as described by ancient cultures such as Buddhism etc. It is not contradicted by physics — it simply goes beyond what physics can currently say. Physics can describe: the collapse, the singularity, the breakdown of laws. But physics cannot describe what happens inside the singularity or what happens before the Big Bang, whether information survives or whether cycles repeat.
