@hightor,
Quote: I never had to ask it since it was a topic in several history classes. Have you asked the question yourself?
I have, and this is what I found: And did those history classes tell you of the land of Eden, that existed long before the flood of Noah, the land which included England, Africa, and all the land stretching north to Russia and east to India. The land in which Imhotep the pyramid builder lived in the days when ADAM died and his body was placed in a stone sarcophagus and concealed in the mountain where the great stone door opens to receive the chest of Adam.
We read in the book of Jubilees, that after the great flood, Noah divided the land, (now uninhabited) among his three sons, Ham received the land of AFRICA, Shem received the land from the delta of the Nile up to Lebanon and east to India. Jubilees 8: 29-30 This is the land which came forth for Japheth and his sons as the portion of his inheritance which he should possess for himself and his sons, for their generations forever;
30 five great islands, and a great land in the north. But it is cold, and the land of Ham is hot, and the land of Shem is neither hot nor cold, but it is of blended cold and heat.
These land allotments were then divided among their sons, and Mizrain, which name means Egypt was given the north-eastern portion of the land of Eden, and named after EGYPT=Mizraim the grandson of Noah.
