The details of auction sales are available in a trade gazette.
It's not cheap to subscribe, as these details are jealously guarded by the trade.
We're talking thousands pa, if you've only got a couple of paintings it's not worth the expense.
You're best bet is going to a local auction house and asking them.
Having said that, if it is worth something a local auction house may not be the best place to sell it.
