It is recorded in Matthew 16 verses 27 and 28:

27. For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

28. “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

The people that Jesus spoke to in these two verses died before the Secomd Coming. They all tasted death.

Is this a Bible error? If so, then the Bible is not the word of God. I see contradiction in verse 28. You say?

@usn0814,
Assuming that those were his words, accurately transcribed and never edited, it sounds more like a campaign promise than a prophecy; it's not to be taken seriously.

@hightor,
Are you serious? Did you know that if one verse is wrong in the Bible, the entire book is fake? The Bible MUST BE the infallible word of God. The Bible cannot have errors. Otherwise, the book cannot be trusted. The Bible is not a secular book. The Bible is not your daily newspaper. Every word, every verse, every passage, and ever book in the Bible must be error-free.

@usn0814,
Soteriological scholars in situ will contend that the exegesis of the verses is that he is putatively chatting in Aramaic about his impending resurrection in the mythic tale to which you refer.

Given the ludicrously laughable contradictory contents of those books and the complete lack of any corroborating evidence for super being creators in packs of one two or three, finding contradictions should result in an understanding that the reason that the drivel is not the word of god is because no gods exist.

@usn0814,
The only way the bible could be the true word of God and error free is for it to have been written by God. Man is fallible, God is not.

It's not a matter of right or wrong. It's a story. You are free to accept it in it's entirety, reject it totally, or glean it for 2000 year old insights into humanity.
