What's the deal with this auto shut-off iron I want to buy off of eBay?

Hi. I'm in the market to buy a new iron. I saw an auto shut-off iron on Ebay that I'm interested in buying. I'm posting a link to a pic of it here:

I apologize - I don't know how to properly convert this image from Flickr into a jpg file and upload it here. Flickr changed the format of their since the last time I ever used it.

Is this iron wireless? How does it work if there's no wire? Is it battery-powered? I asked the vendor who selling the iron on Ebay this; as of the time of the making of this thread I haven't heard back from him yet.

I don't want to buy an iron that requires batteries to use it.

Please help. Thank you.

Why would you think it's wireless?

Just go to a shop and buy one. It's not difficult.

There's a Family Dollar store not too far from where I live. I'll see if they sell any irons over there. Thank you. I'll see if they sell any ironing boards too while I'm at it.

Why would I think the iron in the pic is wireless? Judging by what I see, I don't see a full cord on it.

What about the other ten pictures in the series? In the picture you provided you can see the cable strain relief connection going into the back of the handle. They probably just edited out the cord because everyone knows what a cord looks like.
