How to remove Facebook contacts on windows 10 laptop

Hi. How can i clear some or all of the contacts that show up on my Facebook home page? I have searched the net for solutions and looked on you tube , but the solution options stated , don't appear when i try to follow the procedure on my laptop. There seems to be steps missing ! Surely there must be an easy way to delete contacts ????
